Hi! I'd love to join the open spaces team. I attended PyCon for the first time in 2018. I think that I spent about 70% of my time in open spaces. They were, hands down, the best part of PyCon. (The other 30% was divided evenly between chatting with people and, oh yeah, going to talks.) I've been using Python since about 1993, opened my consulting business in 1995, and have been a full-time Python trainer (in person and online, at http://store.lerner.co.il) for a good number of years now. I write a monthly column in Linux Journal (with quite a bit of Python stuff), have a weekly Python-oriented newsletter ("Better developers") with 10k readers, and also do a lot of work with trainers -- via a weekly newsletter, a new podcast, and coaching. I'd love to help open spaces run well, and even run better than before. And I definitely plan to attend future PyCons. More information about me is at http://lerner.co.il/ . Let me know if you want to chat, or if you want to know more! Reuven -- Reuven M. Hi Reuven, Thank you for your note! I’d love to do a call with you to get to know you, however I am fully booked this week and traveling next week so it would have to wait till Feb 18. Maybe Trey has time to get in touch with you a bit sooner. Are you planning to attend PyCon US 2019/2020/2021? Warm regards, Anna —— You are appreciated. You are enough. You matter. You are not alone.
