Hello,
Thanks so much for organizing the Development Sprints at PyCon! I have a
few questions about the sprints but didn't get the chance to attend the
Introduction to Sprints workshop or join any of the sprint projects today.
- Is it okay to attend 1 or 2 of the sprinting days? And is it necessary
to stay from 8am-11pm? (My schedule for the upcoming days is rather
variable, so I'm not certain what days or times I'll be able to attend.)
- I've never participated in a sprint before - is it too late to get
onboarded onto any of the projects now that the first day of sprinting has
passed?
- Do you have any recommendations on which projects might be best to
contribute to as someone who's never contributed to open source?
- What's the best way to choose which project to contribute to? Is it
advisable to stick to one room or go in and out of multiple? (Is there
perhaps anywhere where I'd be able to find the materials/notes from the
Introduction to Sprints workshop?)
Apologies for all these questions. Thanks so much for your help!
Thanks,
Daisy
