I am happy to report that we now have real monitoring for the main PSF services. These currently include www.python.org, PyPI, and the mail server. For the moment I am the only one in the pager rotation, but once I am confident that I haven't misconfigured anything I would like to extend a big thanks to Richard Jones, Jannis Leidel, and Eric Holscher, who have all agreed to join me in being on-call should anything break. If anyone else is interested in joining the rotation, please just send me an email (notably please include your timezone, trying to keep it so no one has to be on-call at night) and I will be happy to add you to the list.
