Dear Pymovements team,
I'm currently working on an eye-tracking dataset and would like to also make this dataset available through pymovements.
The dataset consists of precomputed reading measures (e.g., first fixation duration, gaze duration, etc.) for participants diagnosed with dyslexia, reading an entire novel in both their first and second language (i.e., Dutch and English, respectively). This data is analogous to the GECO dataset<https://link.springer.com/article/10.3758/s13428-016-0734-0>, with the difference that for our dataset all participants have an official diagnosis of dyslexia. While the paper associated to the dataset is not yet under review, we are working towards a submission in early January.
After reading the documentation on contributing I was still unsure what the appropriate first step is to contribute a dataset:
*
Is it enough to create a new issue on the Pymovement github with a description, citation and URL for the dataset once the paper is published?
*
Are there any constraints or preferences regarding the repository where the dataset is stored (e.g., OSF or github)?
Thank you for the assistance and for making an initiative like pymovements happening.
P.S.: the email address mentioned in the paper appears to be incorrect. pymovements(a)python.com
Best,
Sam
