We are seeking volunteers for PyBay 2026, which happens on October 3rd at the Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco, and we need YOU to help make our annual conference happen!

PyBay is 100% community organized, meaning it only happens because volunteers like you show up. Whether it's your first time volunteering or you're a PyBay regular, there's a role for you:
- Check-In (Attendee & Speaker) - Welcome folks as they arrive, hand out badges and lanyards, and help speakers get set up before their talks. Early-morning energy required!
- Speaker Intro / Room Captain - Introduce speakers, keep talks on time, and make sure Q&A runs smoothly. A great way to meet speakers up close.
- Microphone / Q&A Support - Run the mic during Q&A and help manage room flow so latecomers don't disrupt talks.
- Setup & Teardown Crew - Help us get the venue ready before doors open and packed up afterward.

A few things to know:
- Selected volunteers will receive a free ticket to PyBay 2026. Filling out this form does not guarantee that you will be selected.
- We'll walk you through your role before your shift through Zoom before the day of the conference - no experience needed
- If you sign up for a shift, please do your best to show up. Reliable coverage helps everyone, especially our speakers
