Your vote required - accept flit within PyPA

As the main maintainer of Flit (https://flit.readthedocs.io/ ), I would like the project to join the PyPA. There was a preliminary discussion on Discourse (https://discuss.python.org/t/should-flit-become-a-pypa-project/11854 ), and Paul Moore agreed to second my call for a vote. According to PEP 609, we'll hold a vote for 7 days, and require a 2/3 majority to accept the project. +1 from me (of course) Thanks, Thomas

FYI, this isn't a valid vote. From https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0609/#pypa-committer-votes:
Each PyPA committer can vote once, and can choose one of +1 and -1.

With 22 +1s and zero -1s, this passes. Congrats! Thomas, feel free to direct anything that needs done on the PyPA side of things towards me. Also, please send me the emails of the current flit maintainers off-list, so I can add them here. On Sun, Nov 28, 2021 at 5:43 PM Elana Hashman <ehashman@debian.org> wrote:
