Your vote required - accept flit within PyPA
As the main maintainer of Flit (https://flit.readthedocs.io/ ), I would like the project to join the PyPA. There was a preliminary discussion on Discourse (https://discuss.python.org/t/should-flit-become-a-pypa-project/11854 ), and Paul Moore agreed to second my call for a vote. According to PEP 609, we'll hold a vote for 7 days, and require a 2/3 majority to accept the project. +1 from me (of course) Thanks, Thomas

Looks like PyPA will get PEP 621 support via flit before setuptools. :)

Abstention is valid (and the same as not responding at all). I assume
the +0 was intended to equal "abstain" and not express any subtlety of
+0 vs -0.

As the main maintainer of Flit (https://flit.readthedocs.io/ ), I would like the project to join the PyPA. There was a preliminary discussion on Discourse ( https://discuss.python.org/t/should-flit-become-a-pypa-project/11854 ), and Paul Moore agreed to second my call for a vote. According to PEP 609, we'll hold a vote for 7 days, and require a 2/3 majority to accept the project.
+1 from me (of course)

I missed the 7-day voting window, but I support this. - e On 2021-11-20 13:06, Thomas Kluyver wrote:

With 22 +1s and zero -1s, this passes. Congrats!
Thomas, feel free to direct anything that needs done on the PyPA side of
things towards me. Also, please send me the emails of the current flit
maintainers off-list, so I can add them here.
