I have released PyPy v7.3.23 to fix a few bugs. This will be the last
release with Centos7, which uses gcc5.4.1. I am hopeful moving on to
GCC14 in AlmaLinux8 (the next CentOS) will enable some code
improvements. Please check it out.
We have a new benchmarking machine benchmarker2: a AMD Ryzen 5 3600
6-Core machine. While still ZEN 2, it has two separate computing cores
(2 CCD die) and I set it up to run benchmarks on 3 cores reserved only
for benchmarks. That way it can also host the buldbot master without
interfering with running benchmarks. I would like to thank Maciej and
baroquesoftware for the years of sponsoring benchmark and the buildbot
master.
