Mmm, yes, it appears that the memory is not properly freed. I can try experimenting by destroying the dom element and recreating it each time that the plot changes...

I recommend to keep it here ... if some of the most important browser vendors have challenges with memory, everybody with memory...challenges can learn from the discussion.
