Maciej did express his concerns in an unhelpful way, and I'm sorry you
were on the receiving end. I share some of Maciej's concerns about
some of the PSF's stances, but that conversation didn't benefit
anyone. For what it's worth, I don't think Maciej intended to presume
anything about your intent.

I can't apologise on Maciej's behalf, but thank you for writing here
even though the conversation on IRC was shitty.

Regarding the DNS, could you give me an example of the kind of setup
that would make things better for you? And what kinds of
infrastructure changes are you making? Is it just that servers move
around? Or do nameservers also move? Would delegating NS records for
certain domains to the right place help?

If we just need to delegate some NS records to PSF nameservers, I
don't foresee anyone having strong objections.

I'm also not a DNS expert, so please excuse and correct anything above
that is naive, incorrect or just won't work.
