A problem with cffi has just been reported:
https://bitbucket.org/cffi/cffi/issue/196/incorect-location-of-fficompile-d-py-file
.  It also occurs on CPython.  If possible, I'd like the final 2.6.0
release to contain cffi 1.0.4, which I'm going to release now...
