prepping for pypy 2.6.1 release cycle

It seems the time has come to release pypy 2.6.1 Does anyone have work not-yet-merged that they would like in the release, or any big issues blocking a release? Matti

I believe at the EuroPython sprints, Armin was working on support for `#if` in cffi. If that's happening, it'd be good to get it into a cffi release at the same time. Cheers, Alex On Tue, Jul 28, 2015 at 11:26 PM, Matti Picus <matti.picus@gmail.com> wrote:

Cool! Does it make sense to target August 14th as the release date? It's not immediately now (a few of us are still in post-EuroPython "off" mode), and it is at the end of another small sprint.

Yes, it would be nice if that feature was finished and part of cffi release 1.2. In PyPy itself, there is the branch "fix-strbuf" that should be either confirmed to work and merged (by fijal or myself), or dropped again. A bientôt, Armin.

ARE YOU SERIOUS??? The Chocolatey mods haven't even approved the 2.6 release yet! On July 28, 2015 10:26:55 PM CDT, Matti Picus <matti.picus@gmail.com> wrote:
