Hi all, as you probably know, the Py3k [1] proposal is getting funded thanks to our generous donors. During the first round, three of use were selected: me, Alex Gaynor and Benjamin Peterson. However, due to unforeseen unavailability of Alex and Benjamin, we are now looking for one more developer to help with the py3k work. If you are interested in getting paid to work on the Py3k proposal, please apply by replying to this email. To be applicable you need to be an experienced PyPy developer, preferably with a previous experience on the Python Interpreter part of PyPy. ciao, Anto

If it was a few months ago I'd be up for this, unfortunately I'm not available now. I'll let you know if that changes. -- Philip Jenvey
heh, now i'm using both python 3.x (under pyramid applications) and pypy (under twisted application) and i would be happy to help with connecting this two aspects... ... but ... i'm not so competent to do that with money for consideration. ... second but - if there would be some dissected, small task, with description about what have to be done - i will be happy to help in squashing them from bugtracker. so would some managing person slice milestone points to such (possibly small, easy) tasks? 2012/6/29 Philip Jenvey <pjenvey@underboss.org>:

I would like to know, how can I contribute for this project :) I have some experience with C/C++ and Python, but the main reason would be, to learn even more, specially things that aren't usually found in books :) On 23 August 2012 01:32, Philip Jenvey <pjenvey@underboss.org> wrote:

I would be honored for consideration, however there are at least two complications: I am still awaiting formal approval from my full-time employer to allow me to take on a second part-time job for the Software Conservancy Foundation, a process that will take until mid-August at the earliest. I am still working out the tax and other implications of issuing an invoice for the work to an American tax entity. This too should be clear within a month or so.
