bugs.pypy.org / end of may deadline
Hi Alex, all, any news on moving bugs.pypy.org somewhere else? End of May i plan to move the underlying host machinery to a new setup at which point it would cease to work. best, holger
Hi Holger, I think some people were talking about moving our bugs to use bitbucket issues, I'm not sure what the status of that is. Alex On Thu, May 1, 2014 at 2:30 AM, holger krekel <holger@merlinux.eu> wrote:

Hi, We've started some work on this and we have a working script that moves issues to Bitbucket. Currently for preview purposes here https://bitbucket.org/xando/pypy-issues3/issues. Problem that we had that kind of stopped the whole process of importing, bitbucket has an option to update a mailing list when the new issue is crated though it won't update mailing list when the issue is updated it's annoying because it changes current habits. Anyways, had a short conversation with Armin and we decided to move forward. Soon, I will update issues on my account, and he will make a review. then hit the import button (on bitbucket you can import issues between accounts) Thanks On Thu, May 1, 2014 at 3:31 PM, Alex Gaynor <alex.gaynor@gmail.com> wrote:

As I mentioned on IRC, it's possible to (later) hack a bot that, whenever a new issue is created, goes and click on "watch this issue". It would do so with the account we'd use to propagate mails to the pypy-issue mailing list.

Thanks for all your work! A bientôt, Armin

that sounds like a generally useful tool. My tries to get this implemented at bitbucket level did not yield results so far (needs more votes i guess): https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issue/7949/subscribing-to-all-issue-update... best, holger

Ok, nice to know. Thanks to the auto-clicking bot hack, it would not turn out to be an unresolvable blocker, but it's better if we can get bitbucket's team to acknowledge we'd like this more directly. A bientôt, Armin.
