Important request, participation in software development study

Dear Engineers, I am a PhD student at UMA and I study the use of models in the software industry. I understand that this group discusses many issues related to agile development software, programming languages, standards such as CMMI, IEEE, quality and Jobs, and I think you can help me by sharing your experiences. There is some research that states that agile development is no longer agile when models are used, others report that models are important. There is other research that shows that developers use their own annotations, their own models, these "ad-hoc" models must be identified and formalized, and the programming languages have evolved to be a modeling language themselves. You represent the truth of today's software development and therefore we need your help. Our purpose is to formalize the non-formal or ad-hoc annotations that are used for agile development and propose improvements for agile modeling with UML. Hi everyone, It’s that time again! Python Adelaide is tomorrow! Minor Works Building, 22 Stamford Ct, Adelaide. Doors open at 6:30pm, talks start at 7:00pm. Python for Kids Romana Challans Inspired by a Humble Bundle of kids coding books, Romana will review 'Python Projects for Kids', and takes you through the code examples. As a parent as well as an educator, (and often a big kid), the perspectives will hopefully provide some fun; as well as food for thought on how you can introduce some smaller people to this amazing language Geographic data format conversion using Python Andrew Mcdonnell If you need to work with geographic data, there are a multitude of formats, including KML, SHP, GeoJSON and others. I'll discuss some of these formats and where they are used, and then help you avoid using online conversion services and APIs by demonstrating how Python can be used to convert between them. 🍕 Pizza will be provided afterwards, courtesy of Cloudflare! PyCon AU 2017 - Tickets Selling Fast!

PyCon Australia 2017 - https://pycon-au.org/ - the national conference for users and developers of the Python programming language, will start in just under three weeks! Tickets to the conference are still available, but selling fast. This year the conference will take place in Melbourne, from 3 - 8 August, with a jam-packed schedule. Thursday 3rd August: Long-Form Tutorials Friday 4th August: Specialist Tracks – Internet of Things, Science and Data, Python in Education and DjangoCon AU Saturday 5th August: Main Conference Day One - four streams of talks.
