Python Adelaide in May: Natural Language Toolkit + Packaging, plus a Slack group!
Hi everyone! (And hi LinuxSA too; I'm cross-posting this to you as requested on Tuesday night.) Python Adelaide's May session is on next Wednesday evening, with talks starting at 7pm. Romana Challans will be presenting her talk on *Natural Language Toolkit*, as well as yours truly presenting *put snek in bag plz: A whirlwind tour of packaging in Python*. We'll be at Flinders University's city campus at 182 Victoria Square again; enter at the Victoria Square side of the building, and if the door is locked phone security at the number posted on the door, tell them you're here for Python Adelaide and they'll come and let you in. As with last month, please bring $10 to chip in if you'd like to have pizza afterwards, and let us know on the night if you have any dietary requirements. *We've also got a Slack group!* You can sign up for that here: https://pythonadelaide.slack.com/shared_invite/MTgzMjg2MjI1MTIwLTE0OTQ5MDI0M... . Once you've signed up, if you want to use an IRC or XMPP client instead of the Slack apps you can set that up here: https://pythonadelaide.slack.com/account/gateways See you next week, Adam
