If you're traveling to the Python Conference, be advised that winter has finally arrived in the Washington, DC area. We're currently experiencing *high* temperatures of 22 degrees F (-6 degrees C); with the wind chill it will feel much colder. So be sure to pack warm clothes. Yesterday, about 6 inches of snow fell, disrupting air travel; more is expected on Sunday, so expect delays flying into DC. Local transportation should be fully operational, but may experience some delays. We've placed a weather advisory in the local section of the conference website: http://www.python.org/workshops/2000-01/local.html Over 250 people have registered for the conference.
