Hello, we are glad to announce the release of pylint 0.17.0 http://www.logilab.org/project/pylint/0.17.0 which is based on a major refactoring of astng (0.18.0) http://www.logilab.org/project/logilab-astng/0.18.0 . For python 2.5, pylint will now use python's _ast module which is much faster than the older compiler.ast module.
