Enthought, Inc., is offering two upcoming open training classes on using Python for scientific computing: * Python for Science, Engineering, and Financial Analysis, New York City, May 18 to 21, 2009: http://www.enthought.com/training/python_nyc_0905.php * Introduction to Scientific Computing with Python, Austin TX, June 15 to 19, 2009: http://www.enthought.com/training/intro_to_sci_comp.php Both courses are intended for scientists, engineers, and financial analysts who want to effectively use Python for their day-to-day computational tasks. Programming experience with some language (e.g., C, C++, VB, Fortran, Matlab) is required; object-oriented programming skills are helpful but not required.
