ANN: Webware and DBUtils 0.9.4 released
Webware 0.9.4 and DBUtils 0.9.4 have been released. The new release of Webware for Python contains some fixes and improvements of WebKit, and it adds some more configuration settings that have been requested by users. The details can be found in the WebKit release notes. The new DBUtils release fixes a problem in the destructor code and has been supplemented with a German user's guide. Webware for Python is a suite of Python packages and tools for developing object-oriented, web-based applications. The suite uses well known design patterns and includes a fast Application Server, Servlets, Python Server Pages (PSP), Object-Relational Mapping, Task Scheduling, Session Management, and many other features. Webware is very modular and easily extended. Webware for Python is well proven and platform-independent. It is compatible with multiple web servers, database servers and operating systems. DBUtils is a suite of tools providing solid, persistent and pooled connections to a database that can be used in all kinds of multi-threaded environments such as Webware for Python or other web application servers.
