Pyrex 0.9.3 is now available: http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/~greg/python/Pyrex/ Highlights of this version: - Types defined with a ctypedef in a 'cdef extern from' block are now referred to by the typedef name in generated C code, so it is no longer necessary to match the type in the C header file exactly. - Some bugs introduced by the recent changes to the handling of string literals have been fixed. Plus several other enhancements and bug fixes -- see the CHANGES file in the distribution for details. What is Pyrex? -------------- Pyrex is a new language for writing Python extension modules. It lets you freely mix operations on Python and C data, with all Python reference counting and error checking handled automatically.
