The PIDDLE development team is pleased to announce the first alpha release of PIDDLE -- Plug In Drawing, Does Little Else. PIDDLE is an easy-to-use drawing API with backends that do the actual drawing to a variety of formats, including PDF, Postscript, QuickDraw, Tk, PIL, and eventually OpenGL and Windows. This first alpha release is a little rough around the edges, and not for the faint of heart. But if you're up for some adventure, you may find it quite interesting.
