py2exe is a distutils extension to convert python scripts into windows exe-files (plus maybe a few dlls), able to run on computers without requiring a python installation. New in release 0.3.0: The first release which can create windows NT services: A sample service with detailed instructions is provided. Builds version resources into the executables.
