My einat-ubuntu worker

Hi, I've been trying to bring my worker ("einat-ubuntu") back online, but apparently it requires more disk space and RAM than I can throw at it by default. Is there are way to configure it to not run the tests that require more than a few GB of disk space and 0.5GB RAM? If it's not worth the effort in your opinion, we could also just drop this worker from the fleet... - Tal Einat

https://buildbot.python.org/all/#/builders/10 was an AIX bot, but now I see Builders <https://buildbot.python.org/all/#/builders>AMD64 Fedora Rawhide 3.8 <https://buildbot.python.org/all/#/builders/10> And run #1 two hours ago? Michael

Buildbot Master update?

It seems that the buildbot master has been updated and lost all the previous build information. Also, the workers have been renumbered so previous links (e.g., in the BPO reports) are now broken. -- Jeremy Kloth

Buildbot build prefixes changed

Hi, You may have to manually cleanup old directories on your buildbot workers. Sorry, I don't know the process how to do that. If someone finds a way, please share it! -- To be able to support multiple similar jobs on the same buildbot worker, the build prefixes have been modified last week: https://github.com/python/buildmaster-config/pull/108 Problem: I didn't expect that, but buildbot doesn't cleanup old directories. So new directories are created, but not the old ones. Gregory P. Smith's buildbot workers started to fail with "no space left on disk" error. He is using a disk of 10 GB and had to manually remove old directories. By the way, Gregory also fixed a typo in the CLang UBSan job: https://github.com/python/buildmaster-config/pull/111 Note: I'm kind of disappointed that buildbot is not really "stateless", and doesn't automatically cleanup these old directories. Hi, FYI Mark Sapiro converted python-buildbots mailing list from Mailman 2 to Mailman 3: https://mail.python.org/mailman3/lists/python-buildbots.python.org/ Using Mailman 3, subscriptions are simpler: single login/password for multiple mailing lists, click on a button to subscribe/unsubscribe, etc. But it also provides nicer archives! https://mail.python.org/archives/list/python-buildbots@python.org/ The Night’s Watch is Fixing the CIs in the Darkness for You! https://pythondev.readthedocs.io/ci.html Victor -- Night gathers, and now my watch begins.
