I am not a native english speaker, but I guess the intention is to do a final bugfix release for 3.3 after 3.4.0 is out, before moving 3.3 to "security fixes only". Could you possibly clarify the wording in the PEP?.
As a native English speaker it is not immediately obvious to me how to make that clearer. Is it that the antecedent of "one release" isn't clear?
