In both cases the intentions are not bad, but the message might be difficult to understand and thus can be misunderstood. These people shouldn't be marginalized just because of their lack of skills.
Now we're just trying to marginalize abuse. There is no lack of skills that is causing this, and it's not any sort of misunderstanding. Nick has presented numerous examples of this.
