Apparently he even got on Skype with Guido about this. People would
*pay* to have that chance. Anatoly got it for being a jerk and it
changed nothing.

So, I contacted him and we chatted for about an hour.
He said that he's been trying to pay more attention and improve his messages lately.
We went through a list of problems and he was willing to listen (he actually seemed more polite than I expected).
He also seemed somewhat frustrated by the fact that his messages are taken in a negative way, because he doesn't mean to be negative.
I also went through his recent messages on the tracker to find "negative" examples but admittedly they mostly seem OK, so I wonder if "our" opinion towards him is already negatively biased and leads us to be less tolerant with him
At the end he thanked me for bringing this up with him, and apparently he is willing to improve.
