so schlau war ich auch schon. Aber wenn man sich unter http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potenz_%28Mathematik%29 das Beispiel im Abschnitt nicht ganzzahlige Exponenten ansieht, dann funktioniert es nicht mehr, oder steh ich aufm schlauch?
Ich bin mathematisch auch kein Leuchtfeuer - aber steht da letztlich nix anderes als das x = -2 z = x**2 // z = 4 y = sqrt(z) x != y und damit also bei geraden Potenzen immer auch das negative eine mögliche Lösung beim radizieren ist? Womit man halt Fallunterscheidungen machen muss. Aber ob das jetzt bei dir not tut, das hängt ja wohl vom Anwendungsfall ab.
