Was den Aspekt des Parsens betrifft, so kann ich "DParser for Python" von Brian Sabbey uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Damit kann man sich auf einfache und komfortable Weise für praktisch alle Zwecke einen Parser bauen - in Python, was beim Erzeugen von Python-Code vielleicht ein zusätzlicher Vorteil ist.
