In einer Testinstallation wirkt das Tool recht performant - was mich wundert, da ich das von Visual Studio für C# nicht gewohnt bin/war. Zudem scheinen sich die Tastenkürzel auch stark an Sublime zu orientieren. Ebenso war das Setup freundlich für Einsteiger, weil ich direkt ein ein paar Plugins "klicken" konnte.

Ich nutze Pycharm selten (ich nutze wingide) aber seit einiger Zeit (~ 12M) vs code. VS code schätze ich sehr, auch zum Debuggen kleinerer python Projekte. Für ein neues Projekt musste ich jetzt in Ruby/Rails eintauchen, da war es wirklich schön, einfach nur die Ruby Extensions zu laden und: hoppla schorsch, debuggen wie gewohnt. robert

Ich bin meistens Sublime-Nutzer, probiere aber in letzter Zeit zum Teil VScode aus, gerade weil es Debuggen kann. Sublime gefällt mir als Editor (noch...) besser, aber ich sehe schon dass VScode ziemlich das gleiche kann, und die Tastaturkürzel auch genau richtig konfiguriert werden können. Autovervollständigung und Linting habe ich in Sublime auch (mittels dem Anaconda-Plugin) – das einzige was fehlt ist halt Debuggen! Das geht in Sublime auch, aber ich habe da schon einen C-Debugger installiert; wenn ich da noch einen Python-Debugger drauf packe, dann kommen die sich mit Tastaturkürzeln und so ins Gehege. In VS code hingegen ist Debuggen einfach super! (wobei ich da noch keine C-Programme durch den Debugger habe laufen lassen) Pycharm kann natürlich viel mehr, ist aber ggf. zu viel des Guten.
