Really? If that's the case, maybe someone should move it to the "future" or "pie-in-the-sky" section, and mark it as "draft" instead of "active"? ::: ...and if stepwise deprecation isn't that important, why did a certain BDFL bother to implement a warning frame- work for 2.1? http://python.sourceforge.net/peps/pep-0230.html Looks like the perfect tool for this task.
