True, but FUD is real and I have no apologies.
Since Python 1.6 and 2.0, you don't have to install Tcl/Tk or its libraries -- it is installed *transparently* by the Python Windows installer.
We don't use the Python Windows installer. Our app has to use its own installer, and I would then have to run two installers, one of which I don't understand. Sorry to be such an old fuddy-duddy, but you will get the same reaction from most commercial software vendors. Make that nearly ALL vendors. JimA
