Also, my intention was not to replace any modules. I just wanted to build on it I guess. We did actually use some of the funcionality of the cgi module. I'm obviously in the wrong place.
Not necessarily. While enthusiasm is rare on python-dev some weeks, that doesn't mean we all object to it <wink>.
