did Python just turn into something that is much harder to parse?
Guido has already answered this, but just to make sure, I tried it out on my test implementation: s454% ./python Python 1.5.2 (#11, Sep 11 1999, 16:11:20) [GCC 2.8.1] on sunos5 Copyright 1991-1995 Stichting Mathematisch Centrum, Amsterdam
seq = [1,2,3,4,5] [x, x*2 for x in seq] [(1, 2), (2, 4), (3, 6), (4, 8), (5, 10)]
