The idea is merging it *before beta* and make it the default *from the beta* (maybe merging that commit making it the default the day before the beta for instance).
Yes, sorry I don’t mean to be pedantic, but it would be better policy-wise if the new parser were the default in time for the first beta rather than after.
That was the intention, i.e. releasing beta 1 with the new parser being the default.
