Installing 2.0 seems to have broken Tkinter
I installed from the Beopen-Python-2.0 RPM at Source Forge. Now: golux:~/WWW/fetchmail$ fetchmailconf Traceback (most recent call last): File "./fetchmailconf", line 9, in ? from Tkinter import * File "/usr/local/lib/python2.0/lib-tk/Tkinter.py", line 35, in ? import _tkinter # If this fails your Python may not be configured for Tk ImportError: No module named _tkinter This is a serious problem. Is there a non-broken RPM out there? -- <a href="http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/">Eric S. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and when the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any color or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction." -- Henry St. George Tucker (in Blackstone's Commentaries)
