1) PyObject_GetMemoryView: would it do something different than PyMemoryView_FromObject()? 2) PyObject_CopyToObject: I admit I don't really understand the use case. Besides the fact that the naming is confusing ("object copy to object"?), it seems either PyBuffer_FromContiguous() or PyBuffer_ToContiguous() should help implement similar functionality.
