Bug changes emails: SF problem?

Hard to say. I expect many Python-Dev'vers subscribe to a mailing list that gets an email for every change to every bug. For example, """ ...

If you are not assigned to the bug, not the submitter, and have never commented on the bug, you will get no email if you change the status of the bug. Furthermore, if you merely attach a file, I believe no notification will be sent at all. Regards, Martin

Hm, I just went through the archives of the python-bugs-list (I'm not on that list), and I see four messages for #524804, but there should've been six. I see one for 515830, but there were two changes today. Not sure if I missed the same ones as the list or not. Just
