Here's where I'm coming from:
My first experience with Twisted was excellent: I needed a web server in fifteen minutes to do my PyCon presentation, and it Just Worked.
My second experience with Twisted? Well, I didn't really have one.
Thanks for the feedback, Aahz... I'm a little confused, though. Is this just a personal anecdote, or were you trying to make a larger point about Twisted's suitability for the stdlib?
