Nab those release blockers!
As we approach the planned first betas for 2.6/3.0, my heart sinks when I see the imposing list of 16 release blockers. [1] Luckily, most of the issues have patches that just need *your* review. Others, namely the Py3k exception issues, may require a little more discussion, but I'm sure we can get it done. Let's get this release on time! For the multiprocessing module all I have left is the docs in rest
format - given I'm a rest newbie, it's taking longer than I thought

It's okay if docs don't make it into the beta. That's the kind of thing that can (but still, must) be fixed up before the final release. - -Barry -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (Darwin) iQCVAwUBSE8M5XEjvBPtnXfVAQIBcQP/S5BMgNS/sOXajnU7eLfXGM39/PwStL8b HOv/MZiHtjmRx5Rtro7lDnjaf9u4Ae+V90a5Pt+aAIANSLenzl1GVcJuuQNP+baa trrTvvBGD3C78au76yOIKRZ0xfvv+rxQXo3mzQ4Yf3GiyOaDdhHMiar6qHlQhesK 1j6rghX/J0Q= =r31d -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Luckily, it's done now, and I think I will be able to check in multiprocessing tonight or tomorrow. -- Cheers, Benjamin Peterson "There's no place like 127.0.0.1."
I'll try to roll an updated patch with the review info tonight for you

For issue 643841 (providing a ProxyMixin class in a new typetools module), aside from the minor tweak mentioned in the last couple of comments, I'm basically looking for a yea or nay from Barry or Guido. I think it's the best answer we're going to find to the problem of how to write type-agnostic delegation classes in a Python world without classic classes. I've updated the issue with my own opinion. Let's see what Guido thinks. - -Barry -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (Darwin) iQCVAwUBSE+/W3EjvBPtnXfVAQIP0QP7BNuejYBEZcp9n/iF8KicfKIJ9L39pNDA QWSW72ApVnwaLEebl1QPEfF5LBzjVSYqWu5RcuxYnFro61FIi6QSX91LN+fq+o0a YuPTa3P9VAIbrfpZQVT9MsLNTqcxtsrA6YtGyv5K48oPrkKCm/9/8+7EFOXeRmXQ gXBv7K+3ZT4= =qsrW -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
