Although possibly a minor inconvenience to some, I am certainly of the belief that our choice in language has a subtle, yet powerful effect on our perception of the world around us, so although some may see it as needless, I think small changes such as "master" to "main" are necessary; assuming we want to evolve beyond archaic standards and become more inclusive over time.
