If you have commit privileges on Python but are not subscribed to python-committers, please let me know and I will subscribe you. Membership on python-committers is mandatory as that's where we announce branch freezes, etc. -Brett

Would it be helpful if I was subscribed? I'm not strictly a committer, but what with the Mercurial migration I imagine it won't be long before the first cset bearing my name appears in the Python repository (plus I just saw there was some discussion about the hg migration there which I could weigh in on).
