I'm at ETech 2004, where the CTO of Nokia talked about how they are _currently_ using Python to develop applications that run on their "66-series" platform (which includes the n-gage IIRC). Proably you mean "Series 60". Yes, it does include the N-Gage and the Symbian camera phones. http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,6566,010_40,00.html Series 60 phones are not just made by Nokia. Look at the bottom of that page. Series 60 is basically the main competitor to Microsoft's SmartPhone platform. (Series 60 is a layer on top of Symbian)

Yes, that's' great news! I knew something was confused when I first heard that they were porting Perl[1] to the phones. I was thinking: "Why Perl? Python already runs on Symbian."
