Hi there, Is there a good reason that http://www.python.org/2.2.1/descrintro.html isn't also available as http://www.python.org/current/descrintro.html ? Maybe I don't understand the system. ----------------------------------------------------------- David Abrahams * Boost Consulting dave@boost-consulting.com * http://www.boost-consulting.com

descrintro.html is "rogue" documentation, i.e. it's not part of the official documentation set. Its contents should eventually be incorporated into the official reference manual. Possibly it's good to keep it as a separate tutorial for new-style classes, in which case it should be converted to Latex and incorporated in the official documentation. --Guido van Rossum (home page: http://www.python.org/~guido/)
