[Python-ideas] Re: Regex timeouts

And, as it turns out, I already had it installed via some transitive dependency. The bigger task will be to testing. Indeed it may be as easy as "import regex as re" but I need to test and make sure my regexes still work as expected and that the performance doesn't take a big hit. Trust, but verify :)
