Is this the same idea or something different? If it's the same, wait a few days for responses. If it is something different, post the current situation, what's wrong with the current situation, and what you think would be better. When people disagree with you (there is always at least one :) ), don't reply with "but that doesn't do *exactly* what I want". Instead understand that no matter how much you post, no matter how much people like your idea, no matter how much Guido likes your idea, or even if you have a working implementation, it can be tossed in the trash (see the February "New syntax for 'dynamic' attribute access" postings here and the related python-dev thread for an example). - Josiah
