I have not seen any activity on this alias in a long time. Having said that, one of the education-focused activities that the PSF supports on an annual basis is the Python Education Summit that occurs every year at Pycon in the US and some of the education summits that happen in concert with regional Pycons around the world.
If you would like to assist with the US Pycon Education Summit, please let me know. Myself and the others on the Edusummit committee can help you find a way to contribute.
