Edge detectors in filter package

Hi everyone, I would like to know the motivation behind keeping edges.py(edge detectors) in filters package. Based on the Image Processing terminology , I think features package is a more appropriate place for it. Thank you. Regards, Ankit Agrawal, Communication and Signal Processing, IIT Bombay.
