machine and I personally didn't install the python
version. I can't tell if the sysadmins installed
openssl-devel before building python.
How sure are you that this is causing my problem? I
could build python and openssl-devel myself. But
without root access, that could be a lot of work because
I'll have to track down each dependency manually.
