Hi All,

I am new to scikit-image-dev, but I have been using it for some time and I would like to start contributing. Would you recommend any good starting issue or a new feature that you think could be worth adding?

From what I checked the issue list, the issue# 167

(https://github.com/scikit-image/scikit-image/issues/167) seems to be still opened. Do you know if anyone is working on? If not, would it be possible for me to work on this change?
